Through Pay It Forward Grants, contributions create sponsored seats for candidates who are ready to engage with a program but need financial support to participate.

You can contribute half a seat, a full seat or several seats. Every contribution adds to the support available.

How the grants work

    The Unmukt team connects with you to confirm your contribution amount and share the next steps.

    Unmukt selects grant recipients

    Candidates are considered based on financial need, suitability for the program and readiness to participate fully.

    Your contribution supports participation

    Grants help selected candidates meet part or all of their program fee. Recipients’ financial circumstances are treated with care and confidentiality.

A gift that can travel further

A Pay It Forward Grant carries no requirement for financial repayment.

Our hope is that those who receive support will, when they are able, create opportunities for others too. That may happen through a future contribution, through service or through the care they bring to the people around them.

One seat represents a contribution equivalent to one participant’s program fee. The Unmukt team will confirm the amount for your selected program and number of seats. Contributions are brought together in the selected program’s grant pool and used to provide partial or full fee support. A half-seat contribution can combine with another contribution to make a full grant possible.

Frequently asked questions

Can I contribute less than a full seat?+

Yes. You can contribute 0.5 seat. Your contribution will be combined with others to support grants for the program you choose.

Does sponsoring one seat mean supporting one specific person?+

A seat represents the value of program-fee support. Contributions enter the program’s grant pool, allowing Unmukt to award full or partial grants according to candidates’ needs.

Can I support more than one program?+

Yes. You can make a separate commitment for each program you would like to support.

Who decides which candidates receive a grant?+

Unmukt selects recipients based on financial need, program suitability and readiness to engage. Sponsorship supports access; it does not guarantee admission to a program.

What happens after I submit my commitment?+

The Unmukt team will contact you to confirm the contribution amount, answer your questions and share payment details.
